History
Cristina was born in the year 288, in Bolsena, Italy.
His father was an officer in the Roman army who persecuted Christians.
Against her father's wishes, Cristina wanted to be baptized according to the Christian faith, participated in the Eucharist and in Christian meetings, gave alms to the poor and visited prisoners. For all this, she was subjected to many physical and psychological tortures, both by her father and later, after her father's death, during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian. Cristina miraculously survived all the torture.
She died at just 12 years old and, for everything she went through, she was considered a martyr. Her feast day is July 24th.
