History
Santa Rita was born in Italy. From a very young age, Santa Rita wanted to be a nun. She had a special devotion to the Passion of Christ. He loved Jesus so much that he prayed to suffer like Him. Her prayers were answered and a wound formed on her forehead as if a thorn had pierced it. The wound remained on his forehead until his death. His feast day is May 22nd. How can we remember the Passion of Jesus?
