O termo Japamala surge da união de duas palavras; “japa” é o ato de murmurar mantras; “mala” significa cordão.
Os japamalas são compostos por 108 contas e por uma conta central que marca o início e o fim do japamala.
Recomendação de uso:
O dedo indicador não deve encostar ao japamala por estar associado ao ego, ficando estendido durante toda a meditação. Coloque o japamala entre o polegar e o dedo do meio. Puxe as missangas na sua direção, uma a uma, com o auxílio do polegar.
