History
Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was on Mount Carmel in Palestine that the prophet Elijah asked God for rain during a terrible drought. God answered his prayers, and a cloud rose from the sea and brought down torrential rains that saved the people of Israel. The life of the prophet Elijah attracted many hermits to Mount Carmel. In the 12th century, hermits built a chapel dedicated to Our Lady and founded the Order of Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel. However, in England, the Brothers were persecuted and mistreated by other religious orders. Then, the Prior General of the Carmelites, Saint Simon Stock, asked the Virgin Mary for protection. While Saint Simon was praying, the Virgin appeared, surrounded by angels, gave him a Scapular and told him that it was a sign of his alliance, salvation in dangers, alliance of peace and eternal love. When people learned of the Apparition, they wanted to have a Scapular, to have the protection of Our Lady and, the Carmelites stopped being persecuted. The Scapular is a sign of love, trust and dedication to the Virgin Mary.

The order is processed upon receipt of payment for it. Its delivery, depending on the chosen shipment, will take between 2-5 working days. Shipping is free for orders over €49.
Returns

If the customer receives a defective product, it will be exchanged for the same or similar product free of charge. Alternatively, if there is no item to exchange, we will refund the value.
