Santa Cecilia was a beautiful virgin who was born into a very wealthy family in Rome. She is well known for liking to be pure. Santa Cecilia was very young when she got married. It is said that during the wedding, she sang to God in her heart. Therefore, Santa Cecília is known to be the patron saint of musicians. Saint Cecilia was a martyr, which means she died for her faith. His feast day is celebrated on November 22nd. Can you remember a time when you were so happy that you wanted to sing to God in your heart?
